    Human Rights Seminar On The Gambia and Africa

    HUMRA- (Human Rights for All) Sweden in colaboration with African Study Group Sweden and Sene Gambia Human Rights Defense League- United Kingdom invites all Gambians, Africans and friends of The Gambia to a human rights Seminar to be held in Sweden, Stockholm Medborgarplatsen 4th Floor, Room 404on January 22 2012.

The first ever international human rights conference  will kick off 15.00hrs to the early hours of the night.
Where activists and specialists are going to dialect on the human rights situation in the Gambia.
Socioeconomic set ups and cultures.
In attendance will be HUMRA's Yaya Dampha, Sweden, Abdoulie Jobe, The Secretary General of London based Sene 
Gambia Human Rights Defense League, representatives from amnesty international Sweden and other African rights 
groups.
Topics for discussion are as follows:

  • History of Gambia's human rights abuses and violations to be presented by HUMRA's Koro Sallah.
  • Political,economical,cultural rights abuses in The Gambia to be presented by Mr. Abdoulie Jobe of UK base Sene.Gambia Human Rights Defense League
  • Detail updates on present day human rights abuses and violations in The Gambia and way forward by Mr. Yaya Dampha Coordinator Human Rights for All(HUMRA) Sweden.
  • Human Rights Campaign strategies and research principles by Yaya Dampha and a representative from amnestyinternational-Sweden.
Open dialog with attendees on the solutions to issues discussed.
The general public is invited to attend including those from all political parties in The Gambia.
However, no foul or abusive language will be tolerated during the conference. We demand full self respect and 
comportment throughout the meeting.
